Needham Bank – Tenant Fit-Out (MEP Design)

Client: Needham Bank

Location: Allston Yards, Boston, Massachusetts

Overview

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and system analysis services for the Needham Bank tenant fit-out located within a new mixed-use residential building at Allston Yards in Boston, Massachusetts. The project involved evaluating existing base-building systems, analyzing the tenant space’s utility requirements, and designing fully coordinated MEP systems to support banking operations while maintaining compatibility with the landlord’s infrastructure. The scope included energy-code compliant economizer controls, fresh-air ventilation via ERV integration, restroom exhaust design and duct routing coordination, electrical distribution and branch circuitry for tenant equipment, and plumbing layouts for code-compliant restrooms. The result was a reliable, efficient, and maintainable fit-out integrated with landlord systems and local code requirements.
