Eden West – Multi-Family Development

Overview

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services for Eden West, a four-story, 36-unit apartment building in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Kundlas delivered an all-electric, high-efficiency building design aligned with Massachusetts electrification goals and Alternative Energy Credit (AEC) eligibility. The design integrated ducted VRF systems with hyper-heat outdoor heat pumps, energy recovery ventilation for common areas and units, and fully coordinated electrical distribution and plumbing layouts. Kundlas coordinated design integration across architectural constraints to maximize constructability, tenant comfort, indoor air quality, and long-term maintainability.

The integrated MEP approach ensured balanced performance, constructability, and long-term maintainability within a compact urban building footprint. The result was a fully electrified, fossil fuel–free design that improved air quality, reduced energy use, and enhanced tenant comfort. The project achieved Massachusetts AEC qualification and provided a durable, low-maintenance system that ensures long-term operational efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance.
