Armon Mann is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with more than a decade of experience supporting engineering design, architectural coordination, construction management, and hazard mitigation projects across complex, multidisciplinary environments. His work spans the full project lifecycle, from early-stage engineering analysis and design development through documentation, coordination, and implementation, with a consistent focus on delivering technically sound, constructible, and field-ready solutions.
Mr. Mann holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is an AutoCAD Certified Professional. He brings extensive hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Mastercam, supporting mechanical system design, modeling, detailing, and fabrication coordination. He is also highly proficient in Microsoft Office, enabling clear technical reporting, engineering documentation, and project coordination in support of both design teams and program management staff.
Mr. Mann has supported federally funded hazard mitigation efforts under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), including post-disaster recovery and mitigation projects in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria and wildfire mitigation initiatives in the Los Angeles region. His HMGP experience includes supporting technical evaluations, preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and ensuring proposed mitigation measures align with FEMA technical guidance, eligibility requirements, and cost-effectiveness considerations.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mann has collaborated closely with local jurisdictions, public utilities, engineers, architects, environmental specialists, and state and federal agencies to ensure projects are technically defensible, compliant with applicable standards, and executable within real-world regulatory and operational constraints. He is experienced in translating complex mechanical and engineering concepts across disciplines, supporting informed decision-making and effective implementation.
Mr. Mann’s background includes producing and reviewing engineering drawings, developing detailed design packages, supporting construction and fabrication activities, and maintaining alignment between design intent and field execution. He brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to engineering challenges, combining analytical rigor with practical problem-solving to support high-reliability infrastructure, resilience, and mitigation projects in technically demanding environments.
